... small, and the focus was really more on the life of "Mr. Toilet" than on the toilets themselves. Admission was free and there were English explanations of most exhibits, so that was nice. Also, the grounds had quite a collection of defecation-themed sculptures. So if that's what you're into, you'll probably get a kick out of it. At least my friends seemed to enjoy it. I actually was fairly entertained by the exhibits of Korean toilets throughout the centuries (starting in ...

... street as they waited in from of the hotel for their ride, but my husband shamed me into not doing it. At the folk village, since the gents were so eager I felt certain the ladies would be and asked some especially colorful shop workers if I might take their picture. Koreans are very trendy, they are very nice and classy people. It is just amazing to see these girls walking all over the city, tourist attractions etc… in stiletto heels.

It's hard to believe that I've been in Korea for nearly two months. This is my last night in Suwon (and thank god, my last night in the dorms). Tomorrow I'll head to Seoul for our "closing ceremony," and then I'm off to Japan on Friday.

My experience in the Ajou neuroscience lab was a bit of a disaster, thanks to customs and a few issues with my animals. I'm returning home somewhat empty-handed as far as data goes, but I actually ...
