... the help of some aspirin and two big bowls of chicken pho), we managed to get into the centre of San Diego for some exploring around 2pm. A lively place with lots of cafés, restaurants and bars, San Diego has definitely won us over. Although our time here was short,it was mostly sweet. We spent the day at the camp site doing laundry and cleaning etc. we also spent some time poolside dangling our feet into the warm water. It was a beautiful day today and we had to find the most summery clothes we had. But then it gets really cold as soon as the sun goes down.

... this rock she had, apparently Elvis didn't want Sweet Caroline to be sung at the baseball, there are some real strange people over here. After we had enough we then headed back. We found our way out of the park, back on a bus, onto the other bus then off to get dinner at Denny's before heading to the hotel. This morning started after not much sleep, as while our hostel is lovely and central, it's had pretty poor sound proofing and a strip of bars underneath. We headed down to a place called Horton plaza, otherwise known as the Disneyland of shopping by locals, a massive shopping mall, with outdoor corridors and multiple colourful stories.
