... Monument and spent some time at the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park and the tide pools.
Then we drove all along the San Diego bay, saw Mission beach, the Midway Naval Museum, downtown and went to Coronado Island. Here you find the Hotel del Coronado, famous for (amongst many other things) the movie 'some like it hot' they shot there with Marilyn Monroe.

... 90’s. I felt like I was intruding in their personal space.

There is a fine line of crew or passenger when you are a non rev status. (A grey area of cruising). I have to abide by crew regulations but don’t really know what all those are! ... if he would switch with me so we got to sit together on the long flight across the ocean. It was very interesting since we had two sunrises. When we left Sydney the sun was up and the day well begun. After we had been flying for a while we flew out of the morning and into the night. Eventually, we found another sunrise.

... this area look more like giant rats. Sam thinks I have an obsession with taking pictures of Squirrels......maybe it's how I can make my millions? Continue the drive along the coast towards LA but decide to find somewhere to crash the night as we are missing the views in the dark. All the campgrounds are closed & there's no where to park.
