We have been spoilt rotten by hosts with the mosts L&N in San Diego. They've only just moved in to their new home so not everything is as they would like it, but it is a lovely home.

We were picked up from the airport and driven around town. We also managed to get some independent sightseeing in. We didn't get up to too much, I really needed a rest, I still really need a rest.

... bikes weaving between stopped and slow moving cars at 40-50 mph . . . . I can't believe there aren't frequent hideous accidents. The drivers were not as rude and angry as I expected. The worst part is that the traffic goes on seemingly forever and then opens up for a mile and then stops again. Probably took 2 hours to go 40 miles. I am grateful I don't have to drive that regularly.
