Well i say goodbye to my wonderful hosts and head to the train station. The day goes as planned and i arrive into Marseille at 6pm. My host is waiting to show me the apartment.
The first day is spent close to the city as an impending storm is not for off the coast. The thunder and lightening is awesome, and then the rain buckets down. Least i managed to find ...
Decided to take a morning excursion to Cassis even though we planned to disembark a day early in Marseille - turned out to be a great decision as we probably would not have bothered to get ourselves there on our own, & it is a beautiful town! Approximately 150 minutes later we were back on board the ship.
I'm not saying ...

For a city that has such a bad reputation Video Girl and Battery Boy have loved the character and sights of the city and enjoyed the friendly company of the people they have met.
