... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.
Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.
Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.
... superb view of the beach and the sunset. Powder-white sand and clear blue water stretch in both directions for as far as you can see. We spent the afternoon with a dip in the ocean, lazing around the pool and walking along the beach. It did not take long to feel very relaxed and we could easily spend the rest of the holiday at this resort. We had dinner at the adjacent Tate Island Grill right on the beach which included a fire pit. Very romantic.
