Up at 4am. Picked up labor, Wayne and Arthur at 5am. We learned later that Wayne and airy her we not the guys that labor ready sent...they were just guys that happened to be in front of labor ready at 5am hoping for work. Drove 3 hours to Edwards. ... of the beautiful mountains behind us. Then we rode the Gondala back down the ski mountain. When we got to the bottom we found out Mom and Dad had to stay here because the brakes had to be replaced. So Tommy stayed with them while Edie and Ben went with AA and UD back to Denver. ... the afternoon falling over. It had been a while.
For the last few days we have been up at the ski hills, getting better everyday and absolutely loving it. Keystone is huge, with the gondola taking 10 minutes to reach the top of the run. We've had some big falls but keep coming back each day and doing it again.
We've been camping on the fringe of town and it's starting to get cold. It's expected to get as low as -15 degrees by the end of the week which should be interesting!
