On Digger's last day we drove up through the high country north of Jefferson up over Georgia Pass (11,585ft on the Continental Divide) in his 'Lincoln Navigator' hire car - he had to change from his BMW 740 after the sunroof exploded!!!!. Test fired a few weapons......
Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....

... nights and had a very relaxing and comfy time even though the beavers had abandoned the lake in favor of one higher up in the hills. We sat on the porch and watched the lake and the hummingbirds that came to check out our travel mascot, Steve.
