Well not sure if we will stay long..too many bloody tourists!

Friday, 21 October 2011 Our first Eurotrip! We were off to Majorca today. We took a 7:30am flight from London City airport. As the trains were not operating until 5:50am, we booked a taxi instead. The city airport is the closest, being less than 15 mins away and so convenient! Unfortunately, not that many flights leave from this airport. We boarded a BA flight and landed in sunny and warm Majorca in 2 and a half hours.

We took a bus back to Port de la Soller, the scenic route once again. Which made us appreciate how mountainous this part of Mallorca is.

Tomorrow we head for Burriana on the Spanish east coast. We will do an overnight sail and arrive back to where we left Cuttyhunk for the Eurpoean winter in 2007. We are looking forward to seeing some old friends and familiar faces.

Can Picafort by night is like walking into a Fun House of mirrors at a carnie show. Families of fat descent sport style bloopers as they sip umbrella topped sangria. Laughter is the best medicine on this ride!

We fall asleep to tunes past their prime from the disco techa across the street.
