The bus tour then continued, but at its conclusion, rather then go directly back to the ship, we got off a the opera house for lunch and to look around. The cruise line was offering shuttles to and from the ship throughout the day, so we took advantage of already being downtown. It is a beautiful and imminently livable city. We found and enjoyed an excellent lunch --- which included Swedish meatballs, of course -- and Anna commented ...

... ask them sth in English, they will answer but the English you get will sound aweful. The thing is they have to self-prepare themselves, to change the options like a radio. Swedish people are also smart in general. Erik told me that the main thing Sweden exports is knowledge. Talking to them I could get why. Saturday 25th May


We left Copenhagen in the rain having had a beautiful red sky in the west and a very red/black sky in the east when we went to bed on Friday night. It rained in the night and continued to drizzle as we left Denmark through a long tunnel – 2.5 miles and then over the Oresundsbron bridge into Sweden.

Sweden bound today after a morning excursion to the Carlsberg Brewery. No beers or tour for me, as shopping was sufficient =) Did more damage at Guinness though haha. A bit of a drive today and getting even more used to the longer days up here.
