We finally made our way into Swakopmund late last night. With the truck still broken, we weren't able to leave when we wanted. I think it was around 3pm by the time a chartered bus showed up to get us going. Although, that took a little longer since the bus had a flat tire. Either way we made it to Swakopmund.

... I clocked 74km/hr on that run! The sandboarders joined us for that run as well and Mike clocked 73km/hr.

That night, we decided to go back to Napolitana’s for dinner and I had a yummy prawn tagliatelle which Mike opted for the de-boned ribs pizza. He was sold on the fact that it was de-boned!

We slept so well tonight, and last night, as the beds were SO comfortable and we all got quickly used to sleeping in beds again.

At any rate, Tonto still led us up dunes where my wimpy automatic even got air if I gunned it, and down steep slopes that render your brakes absolutely useless. The best part was that we got to one hill where three other clients were sandboarding, so he let us go up about three times even though they sell a different (and much more expensive) package that includes both.
