After a final week at Chuckleberry of chainsawing, wood splitting and bunkering the place down for winter it was finally time to start a new chapter in my journey. Icecave would be picking me up and taking me out to a place called 'Half-way hotsprings for some relaxing and exploring before I headed off to Colorado.
I felt very melancholy about leaving the farm. On the one hand I was really excited to get out to Colorado for some snowboarding, but I had grown really attached to ...

We crossed the Rockies over independence Pass with ...

Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....

... we have no LCD attachment on the back its not possible to know until you get back home and load it onto the PC. So we thought we would try various different views and see which works best.
It was very windy at the top today and the the top lifts on Peak 6 and 7 were closed.
We thought we'd try the gentler slopes first so Ian could follw my line and try and keep me in frame, however with the powder layer over the base it ...
