Third visit to Bonaire (see 2011 dive trip for general information about the island). Flew from Houston into Bonaire; return trip was through Newark.

we don’t go to the beach and just go for a swim before coming back
for diner. He answers : please leave. Well, ok. So I go back to our
table a start waiting for the 3 to come back. After maybe 2-3 mins.
The manager comes back and asks : is there a problem. I tell no. He
then says : well, then leave.
-I just wait for my
friends and we leave.
-No, just pay the
bill and leave now.
- I say no, I just
wait 10mins for them ...
... day to keep the batteries in good shape. Anyway...that's the boating life for you !
We reach Equinox II, and we're full of relief when we find that she is looking just fine, apart from about an inch of dust all over the boat. We were situated near a road at the edge of the Marina, and there had been lots and lots of road works and excavation works in the area whilst we were away (and is still happening), so everything was covered in dust.

We also revisited the sites we'd seen from the yacht as we had sailed in, ie. the Lighthouse at Fort Oranje, and the little slave huts, and the salt conveyors and much more. Pictures attached for you to view.

This morning didn't go quite as planned. We slept in until 9, which was fine…no boat diving today. After breakfast we headed out to dive.
