Observations: There seems to be no great poverty here. The houses, though we wouldn't want to live in them are at least not shacks for the most part. The people don't run after you out of the shops trying to get you to buy something. The people are all dressed well. The island was originally inhabited by the Caiqetios, a branch of the Arawak Indians and ...

With his wheeling and dealing, we are leaving the big kiteboard behind so now we will only have one board. Brian is resizing the bag yet again - now to 40% of it's size, to carry the Fly Split board, 4 kites (he bought two used ones) and our snorkel flippers)
We didn't make it out to the beach until 2PM. ...
... impressive but I got a kick out of the announcer calling out each of the tricks and making commentaries: "oh, nice shaka, flaca, shaka, culo!", "what are you going to do now, Kiri? Ahhh, a shaka, shaka, flaca!" I don't know about the spelling of these but that is what the moves were called. Yes, there is a trick called a "culo". Ja ja, I laugh in Spanish. If you don't get it, tough.

... abandoned by its owner at the city pier after a false bulkhead was detected filled with Marijuana. After a few months of taking on water (the boat was in a poor state of rust and disrepair) the harbormaster decided to have the boat towed out of town and further down to the Southern end of the island in 100' of water. Within 7 days of being towed to the new anchorage, the boat started to sink. Within a few hours it was laying on the bottom on its side in 100' of water. ...
