Apparently Stage 1 of the Tour kicks off today in York and the riders will see a giant swath of West and North Yorkshire. I have to admit the main focus for us what the preparation for the next day and the all important climb up Holme Moss in Stage 2. ... perfect camera perspective. I had seen Stonehenge once before when Sara and I gone to the UK, but Dan appreciated me agreeing to go again. I remembered seeing the initials of Christopher Wren (St. Paul's Cathedral architect), who had lived a few miles away as a youth and was inspired to leave his mark, and maybe also to also design great things. This place does take your breath away, even if you aren't fixed on the mythical aspects of it.

We only stopped in Manchester for a short time but it was a nice city. Our goal on the trip seems to be how many Hard Rock Cafes can we hit up while we are traveling, so our main purpose was to stop there. Once we found the Hard Rock, we stopped in to take a couple pictures and all of the guys got something to drink. Right after Hard Rock, we went to a mall across the street where I got Fish and Chips for dinner! It was so good! The guys got Taco Bell because it ...
