V8 vegetable juice which he said tastes like soup. He asked if we
wanted to try it, we all agree, not our cup of tea! Or at least not
our breakfast drink of choice, it was fine warmed up as an actual soup
type drink.

Pouring with rain today so we decided
to do a bunch of museums. Balboa Park has about 14 of them so we went
and parked at one end where the RV could fit and went to the closest

When I arrived home from the trip, she had already started planning for a bicycling tour in Europe for next summer. I told her id be perfectly okay with tagging along ;) Once the Julian ride into El Cajon came to a slow and enjoyable finish, we had the pleasure of roughing it for a little bit in a parking lot while ...

... Union station was amazing, it's an Art Deco place with wonderful architecture and huge leather armchairs - beautiful. We were allocated seats upstairs on the train, we only had 'coach' but I've never seen anything like it - so much leg room & you pull a lever & it's a bed almost, well it does go all the way to Seattle, no idea how long that takes - our trip is 8 hours! The ride is great but although you know Southern California is a desert it ...
