... days for lunch and those
never grow old. It's a balance to eat right while travelling.
Observation for the day is to do with
water. We don't like the taste of it here so have been buying bottled
water. The theme parks charge $3-$5 a bottle, the RV park is $2, the
7/11 is 35 cents and Walmart is 16 cents a bottle and if you stored
up the bottles and took them to a recycling depot (we don't have room
to store them) we would get 5 cents back a bottle. ...

Atascadero to LA (to pick up a part for the van) and back to san diego. Pretty uneventful, but very glad to be back again. The van did OK, we just didn't stop the engine at all, even for gas fillups!

... of the state that we have seen. Parallel parking is an art here! The ocean waves are high with the predicted storms.

Up at Ocean Beach there are MANY surfers. The long pier has fishermen and crowds sit along the walled boardwalk. As we drove in I spied Hodad's, the sign said the home of the best burger in the world. Since I had also read about this online, we HAD to eat there. It is really a dive, but if Triple D's ...

We have been spoilt rotten by hosts with the mosts L&N in San Diego. They've only just moved in to their new home so not everything is as they would like it, but it is a lovely home.

We were picked up from the airport and driven around town. We also managed to get some independent sightseeing in. We didn't get up to too much, I really needed a rest, I still really need a rest.
