... ha! We found the Panda! Katie's favourite part of the day was seeing the Panda Bai Yun which means White Cloud.she is 23 years old and she's a fatty,and surprisingly their fur is coarse,not fluffy and soft.Her diet is bamboo and has only 10% nutrition but the way she can shred the bamboo stalks with her hydraulic like jaw is awesome.oh and there not as "friendly" as they may look,she is still a bear after all.but she was beautiful none the less. Another super hot day, Will and I spent most of the day in the pool and pre packing bags for an early start. One last visit to Disney where we went on the best rides, unfortunately cars was out of action, so we did California Soarin, Goofy flying school, and mickeys ferris wheel which was a bad mistake it was giving Will and myself a bit of motion sickness. SK and I flew to SD from 4/11-4/13. Stayed with parents the first night, and Jen's the second. Got to spend time with the kids and Steph. Really nice, short and sweet. ... to Starlight at 10.10 then an eight hour train ride to Salinas. We could just take the bike on the first train but it had to be boxed & go as baggage on the long ride.
