Our bus driver had kindly agreed to pick anyone up at 3 who wanted to go back to the hotel and we opted for that. Such a huge city; it was hard to know where to go and what to do and we were already getting tired from walking around. Today was the second day of getting Alfred back into his routine. He had a bit of a better night sleep probably thanks to the drops and stuff. It really has been hell giving it to him. first we have to wipe the gunk from his eyes and put 2 drops in each then nasal spray his nose and give him a mouthful of antibiotics. ... the Perth empinada people. These were huge and delicious.

The next day was a Gaudi day. We went into Casa Batllo, where we indulged in the video guide. So worth it and fun. We had a quick coffee at Cafe La Pedrera, before heading into La Pedrera. Pedrera and Batllo are very different experiences. You see more of Batllo, proportionately, than Pedrera, as Pedrera is huge. To me Batllo had better examples of Gaudi than Pedrera. If you had ...

... alive with festivals ,the centre of town had music entertainment and everyone was out and about enjoying their day off. Well it was time to get out too the airport..as usual I like to get there early as has we had to retrieve our bags from t1 and Bus it to T 2 so we arrive at T 2 about 6.30pm for a 10.30 pm flight.....plane delayed ....don't leave Barcelona until 1.30am arrive in our Dublin Hotel at 4 am ...long ...
