Big day today... It was Lyn's last day at school -Relatively busy... I had an infusion & lots to do at home. Got back at around 5:00pm and proceeded to finish off the list. Gail arrived at 5:30pm and we drove out of Shepp to Melbourne. We have booked into the motel on Mickleham road. Very nice tea together in their restaurant. One of the best (duck) risottos that I have ever had... Spare a thought for us tomorrow - we have booked a wake up call at 3:30am!!!! Can you believe that? ...

... Ceberano in concert and so glad I did. She is such a performer and her voice is just magic. She took us on a journey through her career and sang songs that are special to her and from singers that mean so much to her and yes she finished off with a couple of her own songs I.e. Bedroom eyes. She was just amazing and so glad I went. Back to the cabin via the tea urn to grab a cuppa to have in bed then lights ...

... grandfather, his brother, his father or whatever but he had been in the Navy and worked in a "Hospital for the Aged and Infirm" in Cheltenham (in Oz not in Gloucestershire). Anyway I won't bore you much further but a young lady there got very excited with the challenge and spent an hour punching her computer finally being able to confirm his middle name, provide his dates of birth and death and wife's name etc for me to follow up on. ...

... to freak us out a bit. But then we arrived at the camp site and there were lots of people around, and there were children which made us a bit better. We chose our spot, set up the tents and then realised we forgot to buy fire wood. So we all went trundling into the forest, looking for any pieces of dry wood that would be good for a fire. ... and then living spaces. Very European and fun. Right next to the city. P and I walked into St. Paul's Cathedral which is the Anglican Cathedral here. The inside is beautiful - checkered different black and white marble? No pictures allowed unfortunately, although I'm sure there's some on the internet somewhere. The outside of St. Patricks' (the Catholic Cathedral) also looks beautiful although I haven't been inside yet.
