Isshinji temple is surreal but one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever visited. I was fortunate enough to be about to sit in and watch as monks prayed for the ancestors of those at the temple and also got to see people taking in the recently departed to be sent on well I guess. ... been living just up the street (about a 20 minute walk) from one of the most famous shrines in Osaka. We'd heard murmuring about it, and finally this past weekend took a trip to see it ourselves.

It was absolutely beautiful, and we had really waited for a great day to visit. The skies were blue, and there was no need for jackets. We happened to catch a wedding going on there, and got a few pictures of the bride and groom. Take a look for yourselves!
