... We loved walking then, just as I love walking these days, and always will, so back to those days the old main road leading to Nicosia was just a few meters from the Church.
After 1974 when I moved to Greece, I had never visited this place even once, and I was so anxious to see what has become of.
Well, I am here, but nothing is the same.
The area is unrecognizable:
The church is the same all right ...

From the expression on the owner's face, I can understand his thoughts. It is as if he is saying "eat here foolish people, you are trapped……no matter what you say, I am going to have your money"!

You airline people out there know what I am talking about, right!!!???
But the best thing about today was flying on my favorite jet of all time...the BAe 146. If you are into aviation you know the plane and I won't ...
... I spied something that was towerish. I turned off and found a disused Mosque in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't padlocked so I went in. It was nice and serene in there, so I sat back and relaxed for five. It was a welcome break on the way back to Limassol. And Finally It had been a good day seeing some new things. The information from the tourist office in Girne (Kyrenia) was I should follow the coast roads and not go into the mountains. "I do not wish to learn about the North Cyprus construction industry" I said to the man behind the desk. "I wish to go into the mountains to explore ...
