Wow, Pensacola is HOT too but there are awesome beaches ON THE OCEAN. Awesome body surfing parts. Hit the wave just right and WOOSHHHH! Surfing on top of the wave. Very fun. We also went to the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Inside was the National Naval Aviation Museum. So cool and outside was the best air show. They look like ...

... 8217;s Club parking lot. There was plenty of room and they had a fuel facility where we were able to fill up with diesel once again. Only $2.46 here as opposed to the $2.89-$2.99 the other stations around here are charging. Also, the prices in Florida are going to be higher yet.

So, we are preparing to hunker down here for the night and hit the road tomorrow for the rest of the trip to Florida. An even shorter day tomorrow at just under 90 miles. Talk to you ...

... but had a great time eating all the seafood we could stuff ourselves with in their spacious indoor dining area. Chris, E's sister, found out there was a real-time beach cam and walked out on the beach in front of the camera to wave at her kids at home. This will be a restaurant that we will eat at again next year.

... that dogs are not allowed, and Alabama law says that you cannot leave your dog unattended in a vehicle. So, we make the most of it and sit on a patch of grass near the parking lot with the dogs. It is an air show, after all! We all had a good time and finished up the day by going out for lunch at Tacky Jacks. We got home at 3:30 - just like at home where lunches last until mid to late afternoon. Isn't retirement GRAND?
