... appeared to be training: take-off, flying in a circle, landing, take-off, flying-in a circle and landing again and again. They seemed almost like one plane at one point as they were flying so close together. I was worried that they'd crash!!!! We met a lovely older couple who had an RV and had been camping there for two weeks. They were from Atlanta and were sad to be leaving at the weekend. They were super-nice. ... off at the Pensacola Historical Village, which had good reviews on the “Things to do”,
but there was a bike race in town and the streets were blocked off making it impossible to get there. We even had some difficulty getting to the restaurant because of it. Guess we’ll have to tour the village on our next visit. I’m sure we’ll be back. Maybe next time we can also see the Blue Angels ...

We join the ferry line about 4:00 for the return ferry at 5:15. We figure we can kill the hour by enjoying the waters edge and just hanging out. The number on our spot says 25. Come to find out, the ferry holds 22- 25 cars so it is questionable whether we will make the 5:15. The next, and last ferry, is scheduled for 6:30. Well, what are we supposed to do?
