It was such magical time this Thanksgiving. From romping in the hot tub in the 15 degree snowing weather to sledding and snowboarding to walking down Main Street which reminds the kids of their grandparents little Christmas houses- this was a trip I will always remember. It started as a "what if we did this"moment as we tried to plan ...

For the last few days we have been up at the ski hills, getting better everyday and absolutely loving it. Keystone is huge, with the gondola taking 10 minutes to reach the top of the run. We've had some big falls but keep coming back each day and doing it again.
We've been camping on the fringe of town and it's starting to get cold. It's expected to get as low as -15 degrees by the end of the week which should be interesting!

After passing the parking lot that led to the trail head, we said no, thank you. The cars were so close together and there was simply no where to ...

towards the north and east of town. We decided on the hike to Booth Falls, one
I had done on a cloudy day a few years ago with my friend David. The
temperature and sunshine were perfect for a hike, the aspens were turning
golden, Doug and Bobby had a lot of catching up to do on the trail, and Bobby’s
dog Scooby added to the fun. Now that I’ve ...

... a nice one and doable in several hours in the afternoon. Mother Nature
had different plans, though. The mountains had their first light snowfall the
night before. We several miles along the Spruce Creek trail south of
Breckenridge but found the trail to be far too icy to continue once we started
on steeper slopes in shady areas. It was good a walk of several miles to stretch
