The wonderful Roti house was built by John Flynn in 1891, John and Jessie had 6 children, and this house stayed in their family until the 1980's when the government bought it, it was returned to its former glory and opened for us to enjoy, the koala hospital is out the back of this property, we saw a few koalas that are currently being nursed back to health, some will be released others have been too injured to ...

That night at the Hostel Colin was organising a big trip into the towns nightlife so we spent some time drinking somewhat heavily next to the pool where we met a French guy called Sebastian who turned out to have the most cushty of houses in a deserted part of France where he would spend his days getting stoned and designing houses for his own business. Thanks to the advice of some roommates here in the hostel, I joined them and many other visitors at the koala hospital reserve to witness the feeding, 3 pm.

A lovely visit. Volunteers full of enthusiasm, showing us around and taking care of these little balls of fur.

One can read for each one of the koala patients the reason why they came here, ...

... 1 km from shore we saw four whales. A mum and her calf and two escort whales. It was amazing as we saw them breach and and jump up lots of time! The second time we saw 2 mothers and their calves! We got lots of good photos on the phone and it was an amazing experience. Lily ...
