... out a light house (see lighthouse post) and then headed to the bowls club for lunch. We had a nice lunch and I won $120 on the pokies but it was only dampened by the news of a friend losing his battle with cancer and passing this morning. A sad day for us and his family but he doesn't suffer anymore and passed without pain. R.I.P Lance, we will miss you and our love goes out to Margaret and her family at this sad time.

Picked up hire car and started our journey south along the Pacific Highway which runs from Brisbane to Sydney. First stop Byron Bay, for a bit of lunch and to watch all the surfing dudes!!! The weather was lovely, with a bit of wind ...

A walk along the breakwall to Flynn's Beach this morning for an hour then breakfast. At 9.15am we all headed for Jeff and Keiren's to meet up for a sightseeing tour of Port Macquarie and its surrounds.
We first stopped at Middle Rock Point for a look and this is where Jeff likes to surf the right hander. From there we stopped at the pie shop in North Haven to take ...
