... planning to leave this disaster but I hope she gets some sleep. The kids make friends with a lovely boy and girl and it really couldn't be more pleasant. Maria doesn't have a phone so it makes it difficult to coordinate a meet up and we drive and find her walking along the road to us, I think she might have been thumbing a lift back to the Sunshine Coast though. Coffs ... hmmm ... no wonder the Big Banana is lying down.
Back on the Pacific Highway and on to Coffs Harbour on a “newly” constructed Pacific Highway. We arrived in Coffs Harbour around 4.30ish and although the “Big Banana” was recognisable, not much else was !!
... morning seemed to clear will be heading towards Kempsey and the National Park called Limeburners and stay a night or two at Point Plomer depending on the weather etc. Went for a beautiful walk along the coast and saw our first whales but just a bit to far out to sea to get a proper look. Nice weather. It we can see that it will be changing soon dark clouds are appearing so I think we might be getting some rain ...
... the days travelling and decided to head back to the hostel to grab some dinner and have a cheeky drink, fully intending to take advantage of our re found freedom to consume the good old liquor. After some deliberation I decided to buy a bottle of port for it was surprisingly cheap and I’ve always had a taste for it.
