... was named Citizen of the Year and in 1999 he was proclaimed Mayor of Shelley Beach! He sadly died in January 2000, and the statue was erected, along with a 'caravan' picnic table. The back wall of the caravan has been carved with curtains, padded seating, keys hanging on the wall, bottles and books, to resemble his way of life. There is also a spiral footpath and a brass plaque depicting Harry's story. It was just wonderful, and made me miss my Dad so very ...

... for the week for it was their school holidays. She drove us around Lennox Head to show us the sights and it was a really damn nice town.
