... of drug smuggling - not a good look. So I had to unwrap them all and put the in clear plastic bags to avoid any confusion and embarrassment. Phew. I am NOT looking forward to the 5am start tomorrow to drive to Newcastle - but at least it might mean I'm tired enough to sleep on one of my planes, and might alleviate some jet lag. . . who knows. I've never had it before so I don't know what to expect. At least I have a nice hotel with a comfy bed. . .I hope!Wish me luck . . . . ...

... I probably have. I've ordered my currency (I hope it arrives in time!!), a guidebook and a plug (neither of which have arrived when they said they would!!). What more do I need?My bag has been packed, unpacked, packed again, weighed, stuffed with more things, had things taken out to leave room for trips to the markets and the associated purchases and now I don't know what I have and haven't got. . . oops! To be fair, I think I've done quite well. Not like the usual 2 ...

Yesterday evening Roger and I cut out wall carpeting and stuck it to the sides of the camper, underneath where the roof folds down. Roger and Richard filled in a gap under the hinged section of the folding sides with thick insulation to bring it out level, so will be warmer or cooler in the van now as required by the outside ...
