Also, when walking down the streets in Akihabara, you meet a girl in a new costume trying to sell you something, for every 5 meters you walk. Schoolgirls, maids, nurses, you name it.

The temperature of the water in the onsen was lurvly, but a little smelly as this was the real deal so the water flowed int from the volcanic pools carrying the eggy smell of sulphur.
There was only one big downside to the whole experience. I chose to do the onsen in the stunningly beautiful mountain resort of Nikko, as I was promised some wonderful scenery ...

Spent the couple of hours I had in Tokyo visiting the area of Tokyo called Electric Town - its full of shops selling everything electrical. Not that many gadgets really but lots of camera's, TVs, computers, game arcades and people!
