Most of the day was spent in the bus today. We spent the morning traveling from Parma to the sea port of Genoa, home port of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. We reached the city at 13h00 and spent an hour and a half walking around the harbour area.

... a 360 degree view of Nice. We spent the rest of the day in Nice on the beach soaking up the sun! It did get a little chilly and we headed back to our hostel to get ready for dinner. We headed out to see the sunset and went to dinner at a restaurant that was near the flower market that we went to earlier that morning. The service was horrible, but the food was great. Cote d'Azur was gorgeous! We thought we were going to have bad weather with rain and cold temperatures but everything worked out perfectly for us. We booked with the traveling agency for study abroad students, Bus2Alps, and they arranged a 6.5 hour bus ride for us departing Thursday night. With our maxi dresses and mimosas packed and ready to go, we drove all night, reaching our hostel in Nice, France around 3am.
