Up at 7am, breakfasted and headed out to pick up a colectivo to the ruins in Tulum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulum We arrived at around 8.30am and already there were a couple of small groups arriving. We bought our tickets at the usual MXN$57, no tax this time, and sauntered into the ruins. Tulum was a walled Mayan city and an important trading post. Today it was breakky - hugh smorgasbord - find a spot at the first pool - finally get around to a few drinks then lunch. Then we moved to the beach pool and found some shady spots at the ocean. Swimming then move to the big pool - few more drinks and now resting before we meet for dinner again.

Heading out for a full day tour tomorrow so that will be a full on day.

... de prijs waard. Die dag nog lekker gegeten, op het strand gezeten en de souvenir winkeltjes afgeschuimd. Aangezien PJ en Stephanie de volgende ochtend moesten vertrekken trakteerden we ons op een heerlijk etentje (oa een tartaar van tonijn die overheerlijk was), het werd een heel gezellig laatste avondmaal.

Daarstraks hebben we dus afscheid genomen van onze reispartners met veel pijn in het hart. We boekten het ...

... finalement le vol est retardé à 11h50 et on se retrouve de chaque côté de l'avion sur le bord des fenêtres (chacun!!) au niveau de la sortie de secours... On a donc beaucoup de place et l'avion est à moitié plein!!!

Le reste du transport se passe sans histoire: On prend l'autobus de l'aéroport jusqu'à Playa Del Carmen, puis on se rens à pied chez Sébastien. C'est bien mais pas le luxe qu'on est habitué dans un tout inclus... Ça va nous faire connaître le vrai Mexique!!
