      ... streams. The woods are hemlock and rhododendron, can you imagine this view in the spring. Waterfalls, there are hundreds splash over rocks to cascades that I am sure thunder over the cliffs when in full force. I am glad we veared off our route to see this area. I am sorry there is no photo but ice conditions did not allow the opportunity.

      Taking secondary highways we passed many small towns. There are some funny names ...

      5/28/13 Jim After a wonderful evening yesterday and a good nights sleep we were up around 5:30 and rolled out of the motel by 7:30. A quick stop for breakfast at the local Subway and we were on our way to Kitty Hawk NC. We headed for our Warm Showers host home 48 miles away.
