          ... enough with sufficient power. So they designed one, made it, tested it and then got it and the plane all the way to the Outer Banks by train, boat and donkey! What genius.

          This very Northern end of the Outer Banks is the most upmarket with less sand, more trees, wild Banks ponies, classy shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful meal at the Northbank Raw Bar. Sue had shrimp (prawns) steamed in front of her while I had rockfish (striped bass). ...

          ... They even have costume rentals for both girls and boys and we saw some boys with tri-cornered hats and soldier uniforms. There are activities at places all around where guests can participate in re-enacted colonial life including printing shops, coopers, post office, tailor, shoemakers, weavers, a colonial garden, even a courthouse where you participate in a trial like it would have been at the time.           ... waterfront here with a boardwalk that goes along Shallowbag bay. It has been pretty warm today, but now it is later in the day so it is cool enough to get out and enjoy the walk. The boardwalk here extends a long way along the bay and runs along marshland, marina and shops. There are a few people out and about, but not many.
