Frida and I then walked to the Southern most point in the continental USA. But thinkin' about it, I don't know what part of the US would be further south, unless they count Puerto Rico or the bases they have in the Antarctic.
We were expecting a beautiful day in the ocean, while staring at the wonderful sea world through crystal clear water. It was really calm before the storm. As the boat started venturing into the ocean, the boat was rocking, literally. Almost everyone on the boat was throwing up and we had a disastrous trip. And guess what, Key West is huge (for an aussie once did the crossing to bruny island in tasmania :-) and crowded with the carribean holiday atmosphere... They even have a hardrock cafe...
Lunch at amigos tortilla bar on duval/greene st, highly recommended, probably the best burrito id ever had.... *try the carnitas filling -pulled braised pork filling... although the key lime pie was a bit too sweet ...
