    ... and would occasionally talk to one of the locals as they walked by our table. We had a local wine, literally grown in the valley that was wonderful! It was a memorable evening between the views, the meal, and our discussions with Frank about the local area and culture. If you're in the area, this is a 'do not miss'. In fact, we would come back again, just for another meal at the El Muelle!

    Later in the day we returned to one of the central squares and watched as people left the bullfight arena. Many of the ladies were attired in traditional dresses. Bob approached one group of four and asked if he could take their picture. They graciously agreed and seemed to take delight in posing for the camera.

    ... tourist sites including a crazy tram ride, the Baixa district, the Museu do Azulejo (tile museum), Monsteiro dos Jeronimos, Belem Tower, St George's castle and a really interesting look at work by a Portuguese artist (Joana Vasconcelos), being held at the Palacio Nacional Da Ajuda.
