... because they loved it! We were a bit scared but decided to go with it. We walked into the gun shop and couldn't believe it. It's like on the movies. A huge shop filled with guns. It was really scary! Knowing these things can do the worst damage! There were men holding huge rifles and checking them out to buy. I was surprised at the prices. Guns ranged from $250-$1000. We looked around for a bit and then we all signed waivers and information ...

... had spearheaded this idea to create some sort of runner reminder/support for the runners to wear in our 10k. The idea evolved into a standard memorial ribbon, but we were all scrambling to find enough ribbon, safety pins, and time to create the 3000+ ribbons needed for each of the runners on race day, so on our way into Salt Lake City, Josh found a specialty ribbon shop that stayed open late for us so that we could start working ...

My camera has developed a new fault, this time a dark spot near the centre of the screen, so a new one is needed before embarking on my 3-week photographic journey! Bought a lovely new camera from Nicole at Best Buys, she is so darn little America cute. Also checked out a Walmart :) Used the TRAX train that was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics - easily put in down the middle of their very wide streets. Visited the State ...
