    ... lots of drinks, lots of dancing and giggles….as the night proceeded we said goodbye to the guys and headed to another venue to dance the night away. Had a cracking night. Passed out on the lads sofas – free nights accommodation is never going to be turned down.

    First things first the following morning, a beautiful full English breakfast to sort us out, then it was goodbyes to Steph who I would next be seeing in the UK and back home to chill ...

    ... got a free upgrade which was a bonus) we headed out to Springbrook National Park where we checked out a Natural bridge and some cool glow worms! I couldn't get a photo of the glow works with it being so dark in the cave area they were in :(

    I decided to spend the morning sunbathing, so after I'd had breakfast and checked out I went a laid by the pool. I've quite enjoyed my time at surfers, even if it has been a little lonely! After sunbathing pretty much all morning Kirsten said she could meet me for 10mins before I leave, I had to pop to Coles anyways to get some bits for lunch, so I waited in town to hear from her but she didn't have time ect.. So I walked back to hostel and had lunch and it started to rain! Was crazy!! ...

The campground is absolutely packed at this time of year (as you can imagine), but luckily for us a group had packed up and left the day before we arrived, so our mates pounced on the spot, put up a little two man tent, paid the ranger the twenty bucks for the night, and the site was ours! Apparently they call this shadow camping. Given that the park is so crowded, we did remarkably well to get into our spot ...
