Our second pod was another Mum-Calf pair, who were really distinctive. Nearly three quarters of the calf’s body was white, which is really unusual in humpbacks, and it meant they were really easy to see in the clear water. Laughed at by kookaburras, left waiting by Whales!
... out by the pool and then loads of us congregated on the beach! The sand here is stunning, with such a high silica content its nearly white and makes squeaking noises when when you walk on it.
I'll try and get another blog entry up soon, now I've worked out how to get internet here i'll hopefully update this about once a week, its $5 for half an hour so i'll get it occasionally when i have some free time!
