Day trip to the Gold Coast. Lovely area with a lot to do in the area. We went to the Hard Rock of course and visited the beach. We did get to see the lovely Meter Maids that fill the parking meters. They are all dressed in gold bikinis and strut their stuff up and down the street. Sorry, didn't get a picture!

We seem to have settled into a bit of a routine here. In bed shortly after 9pm (which is totally weird for me), and up before 6am (515am if you are Max). There is a very pleasant part of the day before 7am, before the sun gets too high, where the east-facing balcony over the park and the Broadwater is a great place to edit pictures (especially if Kyra or Max has gotten hold of the camera) and craft these blogs.

... flight, from my personal opinion, would be British Airways because the other airlines were either too long with long stop overs or too expensive. Although most flights from Qantas didn't take off and land at ridiculous early or late, they were still long flights or expensive.

I chose to fly with British Airways as their flights were an appropriate cost at $2035 and it landed at 3pm, but I won’t forget to mention the 7 ...
