      Scuba diving on the Gold Coast

      I took the tram and bus down to Coolangatta today for some scuba diving. Went out with Cooley Dive and they were great. Two dives at south shore of Cook Island were relatively low key. I was at almost half tank when my dive buddy ran down to the safety mark for air. Guess I'm doing a good job conserving air.

      ... when she landed, said it was incredible and I would love doing it, so that's something good to look forward to! We then headed back to base and got some bicycles out for a couple of hours to ride up to the lighthouse at byron bay. A tough ride up hill and a shock to the system!       ... to our hostel, which was the cheapest we could find on hostel bookers. It was much nicer than we were expecting and we were in a dorm with only 6 people. We also had a tv and an ensuite, not too shabby! We dumped our bags and headed out to the supermarket to stock up on food and then headed back.
