We've got the best of both worlds with the sandy shores along the banks of the Sandon River to the right and a sweeping 9km of pristine beach off to the left, heading up towards Brooms Head. The journey down on Saturday afternoon ...

... we decide its better to get the bus back. With the evening storm really brewing we head to the tent and drink the beers into the night with the storm all around. Today we hang around the campsite with a big hangover. I sit by the pool and get a monster couple of bits off an ant! (Although he thinks it is a spider cause of the size lol) they wont leave me alone. A little sit on the river again and Arron comes down for the night, we have a few drinks by the pool ...
