Once we returned from our morning walking tour of Brisbane the plan of the day was to take the train down to the Gold Coast and Surfer’s Paradise. This is a beach resort area that has rows of high rise hotels, tourist stores and restaurants all along its long beach shoreline, feeling very similar to Waikiki in Hawaii.
