Nice and clean apartment with kitchen and balcony overlooking the beautiful Cancun beach. Lovely, friendly, helpful staffthat couldn't do enough for you. Met the owner and he fixed the couple of things straight away and even replaced the outdoor setting.

Not only had we made new friends, but we had been invited on a fishing trip the following morning, and had a free bed for the next night at Rory's house, right on the sea front. So why not stay another night? It's the beauty of travelling, not having any set plans and being able to change your mind ...

      ... hostel that you stayed?”
Without doubt this was Holistico in Antigua. The rooms were great, the included breakfasts were awesome, but most importantly the community feel that existed here was very welcoming and we made some good friends in this place, some of them we’ve caught up with again. You must check out this place if in Antigua.

We had an early start, up at 6.30am so we could catch the 8.10am ferry which is a ten minute walk from our apartment. There are a few ferries that go to the island at different times but the plan was for everyone to meet at a hotel on the island at 9.30am. Our local ferry leaves ten past every hour and the crossing takes about twenty minutes. The ferry was late leaving and it was packed and rowdy, mainly due to a baseball team making the trip for a game. We got to ...

First rule...look past the black object in the videos. I wasn't aware that my BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) was in the way for ALL of my footage. I posted what was decent enough, but sadly 90% had to be deleted. Tomorrow I have two more dives, and I promise to get better footage :) the first video is 5 minutes long, watch what you want, but it gives you a good idea of what it's like down there! Also the videos are in a lower quality than usual because I wanted to upload ...
