Nice and clean apartment with kitchen and balcony overlooking the beautiful Cancun beach. Lovely, friendly, helpful staffthat couldn't do enough for you. Met the owner and he fixed the couple of things straight away and even replaced the outdoor setting.

The shuttle was supposed to pick me up at midday, but by ten past still hadn’t arrived. I asked one of the guys at reception to call them and confirm the booking hadn’t been screwed up. He told me not to worry - they were usually late - and sure enough the driver pulled up a couple of minutes later.
Smooth run to the airport, and check in was relatively quick considering how crowded it was. Lucky I held onto some local currency as you ...

We got ready for dinner and then headed up to the Ekinox bar which is the rooftop bar at the resort, to watch the sunset. The bar was really cool and completely empty! We are unsure why we hadn't come up earlier in our stay?? After we had a drink we headed to El Orientel for ...

... wet tee shirt competitions and wild parties. Roughly translated for us Aussies, 'Springbreak' stands for 'School holidays'. So, just like hitting the Gold Coast during school holidays, the place is infested with kids. But that does not take from the beauty of this beach, but I'm not swimming amongst the families, so I begin to walk. I can see crowds off in the distance, on the beach, that's where I'm heading. The thing is, what looks like a crowd from a ...

... traditional Mexican sound. And the video clip of a big fat Mexican in a small cowboy hat singing through the phone to a hot lady as she drove was hilarious too. I had no idea what was going on but I found it funny. In my indecision at the bar I suddenly realised I was drunk and it was close to midnight. I'd pretty much drank through my opportunity to go out. So I decided to take another, I was going for a swim. What an idiot I am. I pretty much went in ...
