... dingy hotel of day 1. That night we all went our for dinner together, in the place we'd had dinner that first night and we all said our goodbyes over a cocktail, or three. And like that the official tour ended. It's a weird feeling spending almost 24 hours a day with these wonderful people, but then abruptly having them leave your life. I'll miss the jokes, the banter, the singing (mainly mine, I apologise) and the fabulous camaraderie.

... For dessert you could have a selection of sliced fruits from the salad bar or pay extra for a slice of cake. I opted for the fruit as a way of making my meal seem more healthy, I had already gone for a swim in the morning to try and counteract the foreseen calorie intake... We paid about $50 US total for both of us and this was a special promotion. Not cheap in Mexican terms but we would pay more than this at home for food this ...

... used but also in their way of speaking. Plus, each country seems to have so much slang, especially in Mexico, and so many different words used in each country that a lot of the new words I learnt in Peru have failed to serve me well in Mexico!

... very acceptable. Even the hotel we have with the tour is the best we have had all trip. Lunch at a great restaurant with a tuna steak that was a very pink colour. Tasted different to the tuna we have as well. Not bad though, luckily. A walk through a shopping mall and we could have been anywhere in the world. Nothing like the places we have seen along the way.
