... person! I could not believe it! I am on a very tight budget for Jamaica, and while we have been exploring and vacationing for one week, I am yet to even come close to spending what I budgeted! Thanks to insightful tips from locals, and cooking most of our meal in our rental house, I am please to fully enjoy Jamaica with all the luxury of a tourist, but all the frugality of a Pioneer!

... will take you up in a line where each person supports their neighbour in a long (hand held) chain. A word to the wise, while most expenses in Jamaica are tourist traps, shelling out money to rent water shoes is absolutely nessisary. The rocks are slimy and slippery and at times you are waist deep in pools of water while climbing. just make sure that you pay in Jamaican money (JBM) or expect to be taken advantage of.

So as excited as I was to reach this destination, it turns out that the trip was going to end on a sour note. As the old adage goes, "do not drink the water", apparently did not resonate in my head. It turns out that the harmless little cup of refreshing, delicious, fruit juice that I had while I was in Cozumel, came back to haunt me.

After breakfast we decided to take a walk to the market in Ocho Rios which is just around the corner. We had left it a little late at 10:00 as the sun was out in full blaze! We walked to the first shop and before we got to the door we were pounced on by our first tout who sucked us in hook line and sinker.
