... it as Jago would never have forgiven me. So settled for lunch and a swim in the sea instead. For dinner we struck gold. We were lucky to get a table at Tipico. The staff were great, everyone in the kitchen even the washing up lady seemed to be enjoying themselves. The guy at the bar usually ate there but was today filling in as his friend was sick and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. We all agreed it was our best meal so ...

... up to the bell tower.

After descending, we tour the various rooms of the Bishop's Palace - one that seems totally out of place with more "modern" baroque interior design with mint green walls. Continuing through another room displaying period clothing and on to an window overlooking the famous mosaic floor that is exposed outdoors, but roped off for protection.

After what seems like must be the end of the tour, we notice a sign for ...

... stands with stuff to sell. Lee tried to ignore them but Kim was drawn in by a nice guy selling olive oils and grappa. After tasting several different ones ( they were all really good) we bought a bottle of grappa, a bottle of olive oil ( to replace the one that broke the night before...oops ) and some truffle sauce. Truffles are a big deal here and in every market place..oils, pastes, dried...you name it. After some grappa shooters with the sales ...
