    Caught the bus to Verudela Beach. Got pizza for lunch. Pula has a lot of Italian influence so the pizza is very good. Then we got tickets for the blow up playground in the water at the beach.     ... 20 laps of the quite long pool , 4 yesterday and 8 today. Moto in has a fortress up a high hill. Luckily a bus took us half way then . I had to walk up the rest .     Today has been an adventure. We first had to get a taxi (our first of this trip) to get to the airport to pick up the rental car. The Rijeka airport is actually on an island about 20-30 minutes away from town. At least we got to see more of the surrounding area! From there, we drove west to the city of Pula.     ... church with a cemetery so we began our quest to find some Kroncich history. We all split up and searched headstones. I was so thrilled when I spotted a headstone with the family name.
