... weather forecast for tomorrow is still grim, supporting our decision to get to the north side of the Neuse today and avoid the miserable weather that was forecast to hit in a few hours. We also had the luxury of sleeping in tomorrow, a pleasure we hadn't enjoyed in many days. Home safely, Hot shower, still rocking. We had planned to spend the afternoon doing a little drive to the next big town in North Carolina but what we found was not all that inviting. After seeing the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, the Virginian Mountains, the Kentucky horselands, and the friendly people of Tennessee, North Carolina was a bit of a downer. It was flat and kind of ...

First night on water and cold, but would not complain. ETD was yesterday buy hey, not in the race. Hopefully, tomorrow we get as far as Captains yacht club. Drew says he has wanted to do this on his own time for years, no schedules & no race schedule or business commitments. Harkin rotter furling in today, straight from Pewaukee lake, Wisconsin. It's beautiful & make sailing infinitely easier. Drew says it ends his ...
