... time enough. I will be better, promised!

Yesterday the decision of the day was mountains or sea. So far I haven’t been to Maine, almost a crime, I know ;-).

Well, you probably won’t be too surprised, I went to the mountains. That trip became a very extensive one, starting at Squam Lakes, to the White Mountains, Franconia, North Woodstock. Of course the Kancamagus Highway was part of the route, taking me to North Conway ...

... Londonderry I went by the south shore. Alton Bay is another beautiful town at Lake Winni. Not as big as Wolfeboro and not that charming, but still worth a visit.

Further south I stopped at Pittsfield, here again nice streets and some history worth taking pictures of.

As you can tell, the weather was amazing! Meanwhile it got pretty warm, spring definitely has sprang!

... or the Lakes Region… I guess it’s a dead heat…

Therefore it was just a logical next step to visit the Lakes Region on Wednesday, Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake. I wished I could transfer the atmosphere at this time of the year… Peaceful would probably describe it best. Birds singing, nothing else. Pure paradise…

Today I visited my friend John at the sea coast, but I’ll tell you about that one later.

... und dann nach Gilford und weiter zur Gunstock Area, einem Erholungsgebiet mit sehr feinen Schipisten. Wieder ein wunderbarer Tag, der viel zu schnell zu Ende ging.

So visiting that particular region was a must, ...

... not do as well as they had hoped and were very disappointed. It was a pretty long day and an even longer drive home. We stopped back off at Eileen's parents place where we had dinner and then we were off on the road again. Got home around 9pm and Jordan had been making a curry. Jordan is feeling almost back to normal.

This weekend we are going to Acadia Park. Hopefully we see some moose- which we are booth yet to see.
