Up in good time this morning, 7:00-7:30 breakfast, packed, and on the road by 9:00. Long drive from Coolangatta to Hervey Bay, mostly cause I thought it would take 4 hrs but we got there about 2:30. Found a gorgeous hotel right on the sea front, and chilled for a couple of days. We rented a 4 x 4 and spent a day on Fraser Island, a 120km long, all sand island - Tim was in his element racing about on the 80 km sand beach.
