... This was a far more pleasant experience! It was still pretty hard going with the currents and rips but we could at least now actually try some surfing once we had battled with the sure to walk out a little way. Conor did exceptionally well and managed to stand up about 5 times (Conor: It was 7. Not that I was counting…)!
