... relaxed on the boardwalk.
Our final day was spent walking around Palma. We did some shopping and hunted for pearl shops (because Mallorca is known for its pearls).
We had a late flight back to Madrid that night and missed the bus to Salamanca, so we stayed the night in Madrid and took the next day as our final one to relax and recuperate a bit from all the travel before going back to school the next day.

... a room at the back of the hotel.

The guy from northern Scotland (yeah, it's already north, isn't it?!) who I chatted with in the shallow water at the Puerto de Alcudia beach with his daughter was pretty cool.

Of course, the hausfrau at the bakery was super nice after you smiled at her and got her talking. The owner/waiter/bartender at that cafe was pretty hilarious and outgoing, and loved practicing his English. I just liked watching him ...

... to burp every 10 seconds quickly resulted in panic. The dive master tried to fix my mask underwater but it wasn't working. I decided to resurface and bail on the dive. After the other divers finished their session, we jet back to the dive shop to refill our tanks. The dive master determined that my mask was on too tight. During the descent, the expanding pressure caused the lip of the mask to flip outward which resulted in leakage. Lesson learned! ...

... fresh pressed olive oil and wine shout out my name! A girl must shop...

As we ride closer, we can almost taste the buttery green juice flowing from the olive mill of of Son Catiu. A sweetness literally fills the air. We decide to treat ourselves to the free samples of "pa amb oli" (bread and olive oil) and proceed to add about 5 pounds to our bikes...hopefully just from the gift bottles!
