This will be our last stop in a proper bed and our own shower. Went to Paronella Park today after we left Lucinda. Beautiful place. Built by a spanish dude in the 1930's. Was left in ruin for decades until the current owners cut through the vegetation to discover the ruin. Boy, Jose Paronella had a vision. It is located on the old Bruce Highway so …

... lunch at the bakery. We stopped by the local rotary park which had some amazing trees in them and also another sandy swimming spot on the beautiful Mossman river. We stopped to pick up some milk at the supermarket and ended up getting some pizzas to heat up for dinner tonight. ... boat and while we certainly saw coral, the colours were not there. An overcast sky with no sunlight did not help. We also spent half an hour in a semi submersible underwater checking out the fish. By the time we returned to Cairns we were over it.

Today was our free day in Cairns, sort of. We had most of the day off, but at 6 we had to be ready for our reef teach. We decided to wake up for the USA game! The first bar that we originally planned on watching it was closed so we had to search for another. Luckily, around 8:01 we found a bar.
