This will be our last stop in a proper bed and our own shower. Went to Paronella Park today after we left Lucinda. Beautiful place. Built by a spanish dude in the 1930's. ... a cooler climate. We have decided to stay there after Cairns. There are many places and things to see around this area.

We cooked our first roast in our glass oven on our last Saturday in Cairns. The park is packed as the Queensland and Victorian school holidays have started. On Sunday we went to Yorkeys Knob Boat Club for lunch then watched the wind surfers glide across the surf. It was great fun to Skype with the grand kids earlier in the day.

... we didn't quite finish and catching up with friend which was really lovely. I have to admit to a full on Monday with the girls to celebrate Sues birthday. We started at 12 & the boys join us at around 6ish a late night which meant a very long day!! I was a bit slow the next day but as it was a holiday enjoyed the rest!!

... everyone get their skins on" which was a fetching bright yellow Helly Hanson top which actually did a very good job at keeping the warmth in as there was no sun!
