... I recommend to never go unless you like being constantly harassed by people trying to sell you everything and anything. Where we stayed on Roatan was very quiet and right on the beach in a cool little town. We thought the diving was slightly better in Roatan than Utila but both very good.
Highlight was catching up with Wani & Jodi and doing some diving with them.
Roatan was the first leg of our (with wife Ruth and son Zach) Western Caribbean cruise from Galveston, Texas. We were at the sea for three nights, the last one being the New Year celebration at the ship. Waking up still tired, I was anxious on what to see on this island.
