After walking past many remnants of old tunnels, we got to go into one ourselves. Was only 100m long, but was extremely small, a little claustrophobic, and pitch black. Really amazing to think how they created such an intricate system (they had weapon's stores, kitchens and sleeping rooms up to 15m below ground) and managed to use it efficiently. Even more so when you realise how difficult they were to navigate in person!
