This wasn't too much of a hindrance as all the sites we went to were shallow and perfectly clear for snorkelling as we know why the outer reef was recommended. Liam had several problems with his mask filling with water every 30 seconds but this didn't stop us from admiring the beautiful creation in front of our eyes and within touching distance. The spectacular array ...

... of swimming in different waterfalls and lakes with great food (fruit salad and tim tams!) Today we met up with my god father Russell who loves just outside Cairns on the edge of the rainforest. His house is incredible and he and Louise have the sweetest dog called Scooby who we took for a walk on the beach this afternoon. I am sure Russell has lots planned for us this week before we fly onto New Zealand so I will try and post before we leave. Much love, Ellie and Dan ...
