DAY 18
A scorcher! A day for throwing shrimps on barbie's and singing Men at Work's - Down Under while drinking a schooner or two.

Chilling by the pool before watching the sunset over the calmest sea I've ever seen. Excellent day, apart from the mossies and fly's!

DAY 19
The day started well, it was hot and there was no wind - ideal conditions for going out on the reef at Port Noarlunga beach. But it ...

... have a Rodders Streetcar society. Some very cool cars to check out and Port Fairy is a cute one street town with a nice beach front, but again it is very windy indeed! The highlight of the day, and of our wildlife tour so far was seeing koalas in the wild. ... backpackers, he said naaah, I'll sell them! Joking I think. Now all checked in, thanks Virgin Australia for accepting our slightly overweight bags. All set for Cirque du Soleil in Sydney tonight with Mike and Claire. Great flight, clear day, Adelaide looked enormous even though city centre quite small. Blue mountains really are blue! Sydney looking magnificent as ever, don't think there can be a more beautiful city, it has everything , except ...

As it was we left with a lonely pot of pate, but not before trying all of the tasting samples of course. Finally we thought it was a reasonable hour to start drinking (and the wineries did too, as they only open at 11am). We'd had a recommendation when in the farm shop to visit the ...

... drive by a vital hour for AG.

*Navigator has to work a bit harder than of recent times to get us into Adelaide and find the hotel. We have been quite enjoying the luxury of our glampervan but we soon realise that there is a very serious downside – parking in urban centres is neither easy nor cheap. The van is too high for any underground or multi storey carpark. The angle parking bays in front of the hotel are ...
