    ... Falls
    for our Night walk. As we arrived early we did part of the falls walk and then waited for Allen to turn up.

    Allen took us to 3 different places to spotlight. The first was Mt Hyppipamee where we found a Herbert River Ringtail, Lemeroid possum and several different bats. Most of the mammals we saw tonight were found by Michelle.

    We crossed over the road just near where the man made pool is with the fish sculptures - still looks good after nearly 12 years absence. There were lots of people lying on the grass sunbathing - seems strange to be right near the ocean but unable to use it as the “beach front” is pretty much a tidal mangrove and not attractive IMO.

    ... on the aberiginy advanced didgeredoo and dart firing tour but eventually let us hire a car so we could explore by ourselves. Good gym here so just done a quick 5k run on the machines and had a swim in the massive pool and tomorrow we are heading off to the jungle to get bitten to death by mosquitos the size of small dogs all of course in the name of research - sadly the weather is to rough for us to go to the reef but lets be honest once you've seen one clown fish you've seen ...
