    ... you, this particular individual roamed around us for about 2 minutes and I was able to pet him a bit, but he was a little squeamish, so I did not want to insist, so I left the gentle giant alone. (I’ve included photos of these types of fish taken around Cairns but they are not from my dive).

    Fortunately, no box jellyfish or other nasty venomous fish, apart from the lionfish of course, came out and we had an excellent dive.

    ... It's also a replica, with the real one around the corner in front of the Queen Victoria Memorial Building. Because Susie likes to pose in front of things with her name on, we went to Clarke Quay next. We probably should've stopped for a drink and a cool down there, but didn't as we were a bit scared off by the prices. Instead we went back on ourselves and went past the very posh looking Fullerton Hotel, and down to the Merlion statue by Marina Bay. ...

    ... was nice too.

    We have been putting up with hundreds of black cockatoos eating the gum nuts in the trees lining the Highway and the bush behind the Caravan Park.

    The banana plantations are in full swing with pickers there everyday and I have been able to get a Mareeba Gold Pineapple now available. Best Ever pineapple. The bananas are still 6 for $2 regardless of how big they are and some are about 8" long. We are buying ...

    ... 8217;s Reef. It took 90mins to get there and there was a bit of swell and a head wind. The well medicated Millar’s took it all in their stride and felt fine. The same couldn’t be said for all the passengers though.
