FRIDAY - Today we just had a very lazy day. Nothing new there!! We attended the Caravan Park 'Happy Hour' and met a few of our fellow inmates. They had free nibbles and then we all paid $5 per couple to be in 6 raffle drawers. Angela and Ray both won something (a set of postcards and a chocolate). Most of the others staying here are from South Australia and Tasmania.

SATURDAY - Ray is feeling much better today. We went into Cairns ...

We tried to laugh to awkwardness away as ...

... close up veiw. We made it home just in time for a quick tea, before we went to the local scout group (Bayview Scouts) for a visit. Jett and I both joined in the activities, and we even beat them in a game involving spars, round-lashings, and fire. Friday was the last day for Nan and Warren before they headed back South on the tilt train, before they flew back home from Brisbane. We met them back in town for yet another swim in the "Lagoon Pool" on ...

Woke up and everything was wet from dew and realised that the sun was not going to help dry the Cub at least until mid-day. Dried off at much as possible and set about slowly packing up while the Cub dried out. Drove into Cairns arriving at lunchtime and straight into Lake Placid Caravan Park. K-Pak's arrived safely yesterday and were all set ...
