... fish, steamed veg, curry and rice, and sweet and sour fitted the bill nicely.

Went for a wander down the street to at least see the Stella Artois brewery while we are in the town where they started brewing in 1366 (unfortunately brewery tours finish at the end of October, which would have filled our afternoon nicely)

... far the coldest day I have ever experienced. I was wearing more clothes than I ever had in my life. I felt like a giant snowman. Our tour guide was great. For nearly three hours she toured us around town explaining everything in triplicate. It's not so different to what we do at work as teachers but she was alternating between English, Spanish, and French. She definitely earned her pay that day. We managed to see all ...

... sort of a permanent street vendor....we got one covered in chocolate....oh my gosh...we've just never tasted a waffle like that before!! Very thick and spongy....and delicious!! Naturally, the other treat we had to sample was Belgian chocolate! Before the night was over, we had purchased chocolate from three different chocolatiers, which was just a small sampling of the shops right around our hotel. We didn't have a single piece of chocolate that wasn't mouth ...
