      ... fish, steamed veg, curry and rice, and sweet and sour fitted the bill nicely.

      Went for a wander down the street to at least see the Stella Artois brewery while we are in the town where they started brewing in 1366 (unfortunately brewery tours finish at the end of October, which would have filled our afternoon nicely)

      Flying out tomorrow, time to repack the bags and get to sleep...

      ... a beer in food area before we caught our bus, we sat on a table next to some French guys and had a little chat.       ... I was living 500 years ago I'd I have probably lived in one!! Anyway, they are all still very quiet and picturesque places to be.

      I had to leave my car in a local car park which involved driving the owner around the block so he could show me where it was. I think he was a bit disconcerted about being in a car without a steering wheel in front of him! Although, he did say he was thinking of getting a skoda Octavia so he was having a good look at it ...

      ... far the coldest day I have ever experienced. I was wearing more clothes than I ever had in my life. I felt like a giant snowman. Our tour guide was great. For nearly three hours she toured us around town explaining everything in triplicate.       ... sort of a permanent street vendor....we got one covered in chocolate....oh my gosh...we've just never tasted a waffle like that before!! Very thick and spongy....and delicious!! Naturally, the other treat we had to sample was Belgian chocolate!
