... store in Brugge was a chocolate store, so of course I went into one to try some Belgian chocolates. The woman working there told me that the minimum was about 8 pieces...no problem! They were delicious. The only two I wasn't a fan of was an orange chocolate and a chocolate with violet ganache filling. It was such a weird taste!

Where to begin? Leaving London was a drag. Five or so friends, who I met along the way, threw me a going away party in the hostel my last night. By the end of the evening we had 20 or more people crammed into a tiny kitchen on the third floor of THE WALRUS. Pictures have been slowly trickling in from that night, and they continue to get better, as if clues from a murder mystery.

We finally boarded the train and both of us slept most of the way to Brussels. The train stopped several times at small towns, so it was annoying. But we finally made it around 3pm.
