... across the city each boast a jagged spire that stretches toward the sky. Ordinary city streets stretch as far as the eye can see in stripes of pastels as each building is painted a different shade of yellow, pale blue, or pink. Domes and church steeples can be seen peeking above the fairy tale red brick roofs all over the city. It's completely enchanting and like nothing we've ever seen. There can't possibly be any other city in the world that looks like Prague.

I woke up and did another free walking tour today. We had pretty good weather and the guide was terrific. We learned a lot about the history of the city and the Czech culture in general as we walked past ancient sites, some more than 1,000 years old. Luckily the name wasn't a sign of the hygiene standards, although there were a couple of skeletons in the cellar (yes, they were real skeletons, this wasn't just us imagining them after too many beers)!
