... hours in the Museum of Liverpool (free entry) which was very interesting and worthy of a longer visit. The fog cleared a little bit as we headed to Lime Street station to start the trip home via Manchester and Sheffield so it did allow us to see the mythical 'Liver Birds' atop the Liver Building overlooking the River Mersey. A return visit to the city will be had at some point as there is plenty more to see and do and maybe have a side trip to Southport ...

... what to do next, the offers are coming in thick and fast for a return to Australia, I think our visit to the UK has so far convinced us that home is on the other side of the world. The UK is great but its just not us now, we've changed from the people who use to live here and life in the van in Oz is more like the kind of life and travel we want to enjoy.

If nothing else we've found home in more ways than one.
